José Luquinda

About José
José is an associate with over four years' experience. His primary focus is corporate law and M&A, banking and insurance, foreign investment, commercial and international contracts, competition law and TMT (technology, media and telecommunications).
He has advised Angolan and international business groups on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions, particularly in relation to regulatory, competition and technology matters. He has also managed due diligence processes in his various areas of practice.
José holds a law degree and is currently pursuing a master's degree in company law at the Faculty of Law at the Universidade Católica de Angola, where he is working on his thesis. José is a regular speaker at events and training sessions on intellectual property and data protection.
He is a founding member of the Angolan Intellectual Property Law Association and currently serves as its vice-president. He is also a member of the Modernisation and Information Technology Committee of the Angolan Bar Association.
